Floyd Brown (1/15/1932 - 9/9/2013) Father of four, Grandfather of 16 and friend to all passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9th in Santa Rosa, California. He was a long-time resident of Rohnert Park, CA and a veteran of the USAF. Floyd will be remembered for his infectious smile, his patriotism, his passion for Geneology work and especially for his love of family. A year of suffering in hospitals and care facilities robbed him of his mobility and dexterity but could not dampen his sense of humor and his affection for his family - and could not erase the boyish grin, that those who knew him will always remember. What a tender mercy from a loving Heavenly Father it is for Dad to be relieved of his earthly burdens and discomfort. Even in the sorrow of our loss, we rejoice in a Heavenly Plan that allows us to return home and be reunited with family and loved ones who have gone before us. If you feel so inclined, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to: AmVets Post 40, PO Box 4152, Santa Rosa, CA 95402 Services to be held at 5700 Country Club Dr. Rohnert Park, CA on Saturday 9/14/2013 at 5 p.m.
