Northern California Public Media has received a 2023 Emmy Award nomination for its original documentary, From Homeless to Housed-Labath Landing. The nomination names Paul Swensen, Producer/Director; Rick Bacigalupi, Jeremy Jue, Field Producers; and William Meese, Editor.

From Homeless to Housed-Labath Landing presents the City of Rohnert Park in Northern California, whose unsheltered population increased fivefold in 7 years to more than 250 people in 2022. From Homeless to Housed focuses on the people and institutions addressing homelessness in our communities.

The film follows the design and construction of a new 60-unit interim supportive housing project, as well as interviews with representatives from the City of Rohnert Park, DignityMoves, HomeFirst Services, and residents themselves as they move into a place where they can get out of survival mode, take a breath, and find the mental and emotional capacity to focus on stabilizing their lives.

From Homeless to Housed-Labath Landing premiered on KRCB and KPJK broadcast public television channels in the San Francisco Bay Area on November 20, 2022. An encore broadcast is planned for KRCB Channel 22 on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 7 p.m.
