WestAmerica Bank robbed

May 17, 2021

ROHNERT PARK – On 5/17/2021, at approximately 1250 hours, a white male adult entered the WestAmerica Bank at 300 Rohnert Park Expressway. The subject walked up to the teller and said that he was robbing the bank. The male had his hands in his jacket pockets giving the impression he had a weapon hidden inside. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the subject fled the bank. The subject was seen leaving the bank through the main doors and then fled on foot north through the parking lot towards City Center Dr. and Padre Town Center.
The male was last seen wearing a black knitted cap and sunglasses. He had a camouflage jacket with a bright orange liner over a black shirt or sweatshirt. A blue mask covered the lower portion of the males face.
Officers arrived within minutes and began checking the area for the male subject. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Justin Wax at 707-584-2600.
