West America Bank gets robbed

May 21, 2021

On May 17, just before 1 p.m., a white male adult entered the West America Bank at 300 Rohnert Park Expressway.

The subject walked up to the teller and said he would be robbing the bank. The male had his hands in his jacket pockets giving the impression he had a weapon hidden inside. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the subject fled the bank. The subject was seen leaving the bank through the main doors and then fled on foot north through the parking lot towards City Center Dr. and Padre Town Center.

The male was last seen wearing a black knitted cap and sunglasses. He had on a camouflage jacket with a bright orange liner over a black shirt or sweatshirt. A blue mask covered the lower portion of the male’s face.

Officers arrived within minutes and began checking the area for the male subject. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Detective Justin Wax at 707-584-2600.
