Trees wanted for PEEP program

February 7, 2020

Our Wildlife Education Garden was built as an extension to our PEEP Program to provide gardeners and farmers with wildlife friendly solutions to protect your plants from animals and pests. To make this a success, we need your help. Currently, we are looking for a variety of orchard trees to demonstrate proper wildlife exclusion techniques with. Your donation will also help us feed rehabilitating wildlife and our hungry volunteers in the future!

We are looking for the following organic, bare root trees from Urban Tree Farm or Harmony Farm Supply:

2 - Bartlett Pear Trees

2 - Mexican Avocado Trees

1 - Black Mission Fig Tree

1 - Hachiya Persimmon Tree

1 - Meyer Lemon Tree

1 - Bearss Lime Tree

If you would like to help by purchasing a tree, please contact Kelsey James for an updated list of our current needs.
