Rotary Clubs and RP City offer dinner for seniors and homeless

November 6, 2020

The Rotary Club of Rohnert Park-Cotati is teaming up again this year with the City of Rohnert Park and our caterer Sally Tomatoes to provide a wonderful Thanksgiving meal to seniors and the homeless population. In past years we were able to have a sit down meal at the Rohnert Park Senior Center but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be offering boxed meals only, that need to be reheated, to those able to walk or drive to the senior center complex (rear parking lot) located at 6800 Hunter Dr., Rohnert Park. The event will be on Thanksgiving Day, November 26 between the hours of 12 to 3 p.m. If you are planning to pick up multiple meals for friends and family, please be advised that we are limiting the number of meals you can pick up to two so that we are able to feed as many individuals as possible throughout the day. The serving hours may be reduced if the food runs out.

Safety precautions will be in place during this event. All members who are serving our guests will be required to wear masks and gloves. For those coming to the site, you must be wearing a mask, no exceptions! For those driving, we will have a designated drive through lane and our servers will provide the boxed meals to you. Please do not exit your car. Again, you are required to be wearing a mask for us to serve you. We want everyone to be safe.

We look forward to seeing you on Thanksgiving and if you would like to donate to the program you may do so by sending a check to: Rohnert Park-Cotati Rotary,  P.O. Box 1564  Rohnert Park, CA 94927 Attention: Darren Patterson
