Homework Help on Tuesdays

Homework Help on Tues., 3:30-5:30 p.m.  For grades K-12. Help with all subjects on a drop-in basis.


Adult programs

Hispanic Heritage: Los Reyes Mariachi Quartet. Wed., Sept. 26, 5 - 6 p.m. A wide variety of styles and rhythms representing traditional Mexican music, mariachi, and Latin-American folkloric music. Join us to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!


Master Gardeners: Dahlia Care and Culture. Sat., Sept. 22, 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. The first of four Master Gardener Fall 2018 workshops.


Healthy Living at Your Library: Meditation & Stress Reduction. Mon., Sept. 24, 6 - 7 p.m. Simple yet powerful meditation and relaxation techniques that can be done seated, standing or lying down.

Tech Classes/ Clases de Technología: Computer Basics/Introducción básica a las computadoras. Mon., Sept. 24, 6:30 - 8 p.m. For absolute beginners and for those who would like to learn more about the basics of using a computer. Class is limited to ten participants. Please register online or in person at the information desk at the Library.


Book Discussion Group:  Tues., Oct. 16, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Children’s and teen Programs

Maker Studio: Hour of Code (ages 9-12). Fri., Sept. 28, 4:30 - 5:40 p.m. A fun and simple one-hour introduction to computer science! Register online, at the branch, or call us.


The JC Transfer Option: A Path to College workshop. Sat., Sept. 22, 2 - 3:30 p.m. Transferring from Santa Rosa Junior College to a four-year university? For high school students and their parents. Bilingual English-Spanish.

Kids Yoga (ages 6-12). Fri., Sept. 21, 4 - 5 p.m.

A kids-only yoga class, parents/caregivers are welcome to observe. Please register through our events calendar, by phone at (707) 584-9121 or in person. 


BiblioBop Dance Party (ages 0 to 6). Tues., Sept. 25, 10:30 - 11 a.m. Sing, dance, and play! Get those wiggles out and show us your dance moves.   


Bilingual Storytime Cuentos y Cantos (ages 1-5). Wed., Sept. 26, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Books, songs and play in English and Spanish. Libros, canciones y actividades en ingles y español.


Weekly Storytimes—new days and times!  Preschool Storytimes (ages 3-6) Fri. at 10:30 a.m. Toddler Storytimes (ages 18 months-3 years), Tues. at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 11.
