Adult Programs

Tech Classes/ Clases de Technología: Microsoft Excel. Wednesday, October 24, 6:30 - 8:00 pm This wonderful spreadsheet program can assist you with budgeting, organizing information, and presenting dynamic charts and tables. Llevaremos Excel al siguiente nivel y aprenderemos a crear tablas dinámicas, ventanas desplegables, formatos condicionales, Sparklines, y otras fórmulas y funciones especiales.

Master Gardeners: Supermarket Orchid Survival Class. Saturday, October 20, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm Bring your ailing orchid, if you have one!  

Virtual Reality Lab: Oculus Rift. Saturday, October 27, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm 30-minute sessions with the Oculus Rift!14 years and older welcome. Please make an appointment online or visit a service desk at the library to sign up. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you plan to try using the equipment, please print and bring (or come by and pick up) a signed personal waiver form. For participants ages 14–17, the waiver form must be signed by a parent or guardian.

Book Discussion Group.  Tuesday, November 20, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm.  The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy. New members are welcome. Books are available at the adult information desk.


Children’s and teen Programs

Teen Family Tree (Grades 7-12). Saturday, October 20, 2:00 - 4:00 pm Bring pictures of family and friends, use antiquing techniques to treat and embellish. Sign up online or call.

Family Movie Night: Wednesday, October 24, 6:15 - 8:00 pm

“Aspiring musician Miguel, confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music, enters the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary singer.” ( Popcorn served!


Kids Yoga (ages 6-12). Friday, October 19, 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Partner and group poses, yoga games, breathing. A kids-only yoga class, parents/caregivers are welcome to observe. Class space is limited. Register through our events calendar, by calling (707) 584-9121 or in person. 

 Dia de los Muertos Celebration! (ages 5-12). Saturday, October 27, 2:00 - 4:00 pm Bilingual stories with Veronica Dondero followed by decorating a Mexican sugar skull.  All craft supplies will be provided. 

 BiblioBop Dance Party (ages 0 to 6). Friday, October 19, 10:30 - 11:00 am

Sing, dance, and play! Get those wiggles out and show us your dance moves.   

Weekly Storytimes—Preschool Storytimes (ages 3-6) Fridays at 10:30 am. Toddler Storytimes (ages 18 months-3 years), Tuesdays at 10:30 am. Babytimes (ages 0-18 months), Thursdays at 10:30 am.

Homework Help on Tuesdays, 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Homework assistance is provided for grades K-12. 

Read to a Dog – Wednesdays, 3:30 - 4:30 pm all year round.
