Oliver’s Market offers new hire bonus and increased starting pay

Oliver’s Market announced new pay ranges and a new hire bonus which started July 1 to encourage potential job seekers to consider joining the local, employee-owned company.

As of July 1, 2021, Oliver’s Market is offering:

• A starting wage of $16.00/Hr. for Front End Utility Clerks (Baggers)

• A minimum starting wage of $16.50/Hr. for customer service positions

• Wage range of $16.00-$27.00/Hr. for hourly positions 

Additionally, a New Hire Bonus of $500 is being offered for the following positions:

• Full time Deli department positions

• Full time Bakery, Bakery Tavern, Bakery Production positions

• Full time Journeyman Meat Butcher positions

(To receive the $500.00 new hire bonus, a qualifying new employee must meet the following criteria: 

(1) you are hired as full-time status; (2) you attend orientation in July 2021; (3) you are employed by Oliver’s for at least 90 days from your orientation date; (4) you work 32 hours or more per week as scheduled during the 90 day period from your orientation date (time off taken as PTO and supplemental paid sick leave count toward the 32 hour minimum); and (5) you are in compliance with all company polices.  If you earn the new hire bonus, it will be paid on the payroll date following the week you complete 90 days of employment.  The hiring bonus is subject to required withholdings.)
