Moving forward feeling good

It seems that this is a very good time to be in touch with our internals thoughts about ourselves, our values, our lifestyle choices and where we want to go from here.  One of the most basic components of our lives is our overall health.  So much of the time we take for granted that our health is ‘good enough.’  We intend to get around to exercising more a bit later when we have more time.  We tell ourselves that we’ll just stop by a fast food place to pick up dinner and a sugary dessert to go – after all, we’re tired from a hard day of work.  

It’s been impossible not to take stock of our personal health and evaluate it in terms of how susceptible we might be to the current threatening virus.  Were you able to tell yourself that you were as prepared as you possibly could be for such a situation?  If not, now is the right time to make some decisions about lifestyle choices that would support you being in the best health possible.  Look at what changes may be needed.  Make a plan to put those changes into actions.  This might involve getting some testing and more information about how to handle any unwanted health conditions.

If you tell yourself that you have no unwanted symptoms and that it is because medications are masking those symptoms, you may want to dig a bit deeper.  There are conditions in which medications are absolutely needed.  There are also many conditions that will resolve themselves by a change in lifestyle to the point where medications may be lowered or even no longer needed.  We are very fortunate in that we live in a truly wonderful area where support for optimal health and wellbeing is abundantly available.
