The state public utilities commission has allocated $2,784.71 to the city of Rohnert Park to help pay for railroad crossing protection on the Rohnert Park Expressway.

The crossing, which was built last year, has two flashing light signals and automatic gates. 

Costs of the warning devices was $11,138.35 of which the state will pay one-fourth from its crossing protection fund.
