“Yesterday’s Children” will provide the music for the first summer dance planned by the Rohnert Park Teen Club. The dance is being held Saturday night from 8 p.m. to 12 in the Rohnert Park Junior High multi-use room.

Single admission will be 75 cents and couples will be $1. The dance is informal.

The Teen Club organized following a teen forum held by the Rohnert Park City Council a few months ago, is under the sponsorship of the city recreation commission.

Acting president of the group is Rich Ericksen with Kate Arthur acting as vice president.

The group meets every Wednesday evening from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the multi-use room at the junior high school. All teenagers are invited to attend and participate.

Irene Hilsendager’s column each week touches on moments in the history of Cotati, Rohnert Park and Penngrove.
