Get rid of your mattresses

September 4, 2020

A free mattress recycling event will be held September 12, at the Rohnert Park Community Services Center, 5401 Snyder Ln., Rohnert Park, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday only.

To make it more convenient for Sonoma County residents and businesses to dispose of their mattresses properly, Zero Waste Sonoma has partnered with Conservation Corps North Bay and the Mattress Recycling Council to host free mattress collection events. No appointment is necessary for these events. All events are held in the parking lot of the community center.

We will accept clean, dry mattresses (any size), box springs and futons. There is a limit of three units per vehicle per day.  We will not accept soiled or wet mattresses, futon frames, crib mattresses, dog beds or mattress toppers

For the safety of our staff please follow COVID-19 rules: 1. Remain in your vehicles at all times. Crack a window in order to talk to the collection event staff. 2. Place materials in the trunk of your car, or bed of truck, not on the seats. 3. Everyone in the vehicle must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.

For more information, visit  This event is hosted by Zero Waste Sonoma.
