Walking into The Studio on Southwest Blvd. you get the feeling of warmth and a very enthusiastic greeting.

Born in Burlingame, Ca. to Don and Jannine Keith, Pam Zimin is the eldest of three girls. Husband Gary owns a drapery installation business. Her family consists of twin boys, Kevin and Kristopher.

Pam attended the first class at John Reed Elementary, El Molino in Forestville and the Santa Rosa Beauty School finalized her education. Pam say, “I received my license from Santa Rosa Beauty School in July and married Gary in August.”

Pam and her sister, Dodie Malmania owned a beauty salon for thirty-one years in the same location at the DoubleTree Plaza, in the northern end of Rohnert Park. Including time after that she has been in the beauty business for over 37 years. That salon has been taken over by two young ladies and named it the Diamond Rose.

Zimin loves to do many kids of haircuts, hair coloring, blowing out styles and permanents.

Since sis Dodie retired, Pam opened an adorable salon in the Southwest Blvd. strip mall where people are friendly and other businesses are thriving.

Pam insists it’s as if you are working in a little village. She said it took her eight months to find the new location, but her landlady is an absolute doll.

When Pam has any free time, you can find her making greeting cards. Pam and Gary live in Rohnert Park saying she loves spending time with family.
