Friday, December 6

• Community coffee-free coffee and pastries every Fri. from 10-11 a.m. come and meet your fellow library patrons at the local library.

• Funny Face will be presented at 7 p.m. by the Sonoma Film Institute. All screenings are in Warren Auditorium, Ives Hall on the SSU campus. $5 parking fee on all SSU lots. Suggested ticket donation $5. 707-664-2606.

• Fabulous Women Festival of Trees. Bid on one of a kind tree. 6-9 p.m. in Hotel Petaluma, 205 Kentucky St., Petaluma. Proceeds go to charities. Free admission.

• Located at the Central Disposal Site, the household toxics facility is open weekly for free drop-off of toxics from Sonoma County residents. Bring your ID to prove residency. No appointment required. 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. 500 Mecham Rd., Petaluma. Facility will be closed from Dec. 18-Jan.1.

• 37th Annual Holiday Lights celebration. 5-7 p.m. 475 City Center Plaza, Rohnert Park. Free photo with Santa. Free kids’ activities. RCHS Marching Band and Choir.

• Comic artist workshop for cadettes. Work with a professional cartoonist to create your own four-panel comic strip. For fees and reservations, call 707-544-5472.

• “SonoMusette in Concert” is appearing at the New Cotati Cabaret at Congregation Ner Shalom, 85 La Plaza, Cotati 8 p.m. The concert is a fundraiser for Ner Shalom. This concert is the second of three in the Fall/Winter series. The next concert will be the Musers Jan 20 for which student tickets will be available. Tickets are $25 general, and $35 VIP.
