On Saturday, June 6 two thousand plus people gathered on the lawn in front of Santa Rosa Junior College for a “Black Lives Matter” protest. Organizers shared their truths, sang and helped anyone interested register to vote. Shortly after 4 p.m. organizers provided food, water and gave out masks to supporters before marching up Mendocino Avenue to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. Protesters peacefully conveyed their message in unity.
