Another astral performance

The Movement Lab gave yet another series of stellar performances at Spreckels Performing Arts Center which started Jan. 14 culminating in this performance Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m.. The dance group “Extraordinary” gave a moving performance following a touching video highlighting each group member expressing what they like about dance and about their dance partners. The title of their dance, choreographed by Bernadette Alverio-Tonks, was “With You.” Following their performance, they received at least a 5-minute standing ovation. The Movement Lab will perform again June 1-7 so if you’ve never seen them perform mark your calendar. The dancers: Morgan Sherlock, Mark Thomas, Ryder Schalich, Melanie Branch-Edwardes, Dylan Carrington, Allison Coon, Micah Poindexter, Malachi Shane, Tommy Snook, Michael Lopez, Justin Capehearl and Kelly Hernandez.
