A different kind of Easter egg celebration

April 3, 2020

Heartwood Church is inviting you to participate in a safe and fun way for the Easter weekend.

Families need now of all times to have a safe place to celebrate this Easter and we could not let the church and community down. Heartwood Church is committed to making memories that last forever and we will not let the Coronavirus stop us. We know Easter in the park cannot be the carnival-style event that we loved but we are up for a challenge and ready to play a small part in making Easter happen for you and your family.

Saturday, April 11 at 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 12 at 9 a.m. Heartwood Church will have an Easter in the Park-ing lot which will be a drive-in experience. Easter in the Park-ing lot will let you view live music and a sermon from the privacy and comfort of the cars. To ensure the best sound quality, we will broadcast on FM radio through your car’s stereo system.

Each family is encouraged to decorate your car for the “Best dressed Easter car” contest. Your family will also have the opportunity to participate in the fun zone prize drawings.

Speaking of fun, who said God, church and faith can’t be fun? This church believes that families who play together, stay together no matter where you have been or where you are at the moment.

Don’t be surprised when this shelter-in-place situation goes away and you receive an invitation to our next community event.  Some upcoming events are “Dinosaur Egg Hunt,” three neighborhood barbecues, an outdoor movie night and a Splish-Splash Water Bash during the summer months.

Parking is limited at 4689 Snyder Ln. on the corner of Heartwood Dr. and Snyder Ln. in Rohnert Park so pre-register and enter into the fun zone prize drawings. For more information go to
