4949 Snyder Lane homicide

On June 4 at approximately 2:51 p.m., Rohnert Park Public Safety Dispatch received multiple 9-1-1 calls that a shooting had just occurred in the parking lot of the Park Ridge Apartments at 4949 Snyder Lane. Callers reported that the suspect had fired multiple rounds and a subject had been shot.

Rohnert Park Officers responded and found a 29-year-old male victim laying on the grass in front of neighboring apartments, clinging to life. The victim, whose name will not be divulged at this time, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body. Despite lifesaving efforts by Rohnert Park emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim resided at 4949 Snyder Lane.

Dispatch and officers at the scene received information regarding the suspect(s) and suspect vehicle. The suspects were described as two adult Hispanic males. One of the suspects, the shooter, was described to have “short spikey hair.” It was said that the suspects got into a gray pick-up truck and fled the scene, which was last seen driving northbound on Snyder Lane. The suspect vehicle is described as a gray Dodge Dakota truck, with black lumber racks and a white 4x4 sticker on the tailgate.

Rohnert Park Detectives arrived on scene and are currently conducting an investigation and Crime Scene Investigators are processing the scene. Multiple bullet casings were found at the scene along with other evidence. It is unknown at this time if the suspect(s) and the victim were acquainted with one another.

June 6  update:

Rohnert Park DPS Detectives have arrested two suspects in connection with a homicide that occurred at the Parkridge Apartments on June 4, 2021 in Rohnert Park. Detectives developed information that led to the arrests Christian Arrano Perez, 20, of Windsor and Alejandro Alvarez-Solorio, 20, of Rohnert Park.

 Perez has been charged 187 PC – Murder and 32 PC – Conspiracy. Alvarez-Solorio has been charged with 32 PC- Conspiracy. Both suspects have been booked into the Sonoma County Jail without bail. The victim, Cesar Daniel Saloma, 29, of Rohnert Park died as a result of gunshot wounds sustained during a confrontation that occurred at the apartment complex. 

 This is an active investigation and Detectives are following up on additional leads. Additional information will be released at a later time.
