Despite unseasonable rainstorms, Jaime Greer Martinez, of Rohnert Park, and Ashley Evans, of Cwmbran, Wales, were wed in Rohnert Park on Oct. 24, 2010. The wedding was to take place in a garden in Bodega Bay, but with the aid of family, friends, and local businesses, the celebration was moved to an indoor location when it was still gushing down rain on the morning of the wedding. The bride (daughter of John Martinez of Washington, and Robin Greer of California) wore a floor length, off-white gown with a jeweled lace back, and a pair of pink wellies (given to her by the mother of the groom). She carried a bouquet of purple and antique pink roses in one hand and a white ruffled umbrella in the other. She was accompanied by longtime friends Catherine Lively, Marissa Barker, Nicolette Gianolli, and sister-in-law Melissa Evans. Their ruffled umbrellas were purple. The groom (son of Jack and Barbara Evans, Cwmbran, Wales) wore an aborigine cravat and a pin with the American and Welsh flags. Brother Jordan Evans accompanied him. The reception was held immediately following the wedding. The couple honeymooned in Bodega Bay, and now live in Rohnert Park.
