SSU menís win streak snaps at 7

For the first time since 2012, the SSU will host a first-round game in this year’s CCAA tournament. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. The opponent will not be known until after Saturday night’s contests.


Defense sparks two more wins for SSU men

Starting for the first time this season, Ronnie Harris scored a team-high 12 points and Sonoma State University’s top-ranked NCAA Div. II defense was superb in holding Cal State Monterey Bay under 40 points in a dominant 52-39 road victory on Saturday, Feb. 11.

Chico St. no match for SSU

Sonoma State University’s men’s basketball team sent a sellout crowd of 2,080 home happy in the grand reopening of the Wolves’ Den by crushing Chico State, ranked No. 20 nationally, 66-50 on Friday, Feb. 3.
