Lend a hand distributing food
Redwood Empire Food Bank has deployed its emergency response program with distributions open to anyone in need of food. They need volunteers to help out in the kitchen and with distributions. Kitchen help needed in Petaluma
Sonoma Family Meal provides meals to those in need in disaster areas. Volunteers are needed to cook and help in the Petaluma kitchen on Saturday nights, help pack meals on Monday mornings and hand out meals to families in Santa Rosa on Monday nights. Sign up at sonomafamilymeal/volunteer.org.

Help with fire relief efforts
Petaluma People Services Center has a variety of human services programs, including serving Kincade fire victims. They also need volunteers for their iRide Petaluma Program, Meals on Wheels program and their Senior Café. To volunteer, go to tinyurl.com/PPSC-volunteer.
Support group help needed
Help facilitate YWCA Sonoma County’s Domestic Violence Education Support Group once a week for two hours. Provide resources and referrals and positively impact your community. World Central Kitchen’s Chef Relief Team is in need of professional chefs, logistics experts and other volunteers with commercial cooking experience. Volunteer drivers can help with food purchases and deliveries. Register at wck.org.
