VFW honors Rancho teacher

Matt Transue, a teacher at Rancho Cotate High School, receives the VFW Teacher of the Year Award from Brandon Stewart, Sr. Vice Commander of VFW Post 3237; Robert Safreno, Service Officer; and Jim Plaisted, Quartermaster. Transue received the award on Wednesday, March 8, at Rancho Cotate during a faculty meeting.
