Siyan Clinical Corporation of Santa Rosa is reaching out to first responders to provide support for those who are dealing with the mental trauma associated with disaster relief efforts. A team of clinical professionals are providing their support to first responders who have been traumatized or affected by their efforts to provide for the Sonoma County Kincade Fires. Appointments will be made available within two working days.
According to Siyan’s founder and CEO, Dr. Anish Shah, “We recognize that the strain of being a first responder can be overwhelming after a disaster on the scale of the Kincade Fire. Police and fire personnel are subjected to witnessing the destruction of properties and lives as they go about their duties. They are vulnerable to experiencing Acute Stress Disorder, Clinical Depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Although the public is made aware of the losses suffered to the general population in times of disaster, what is often overlooked is the mental effects on the people we tend to congratulate for their bravery and persistence. Siyan Clinical Corporation has provided assistance to first responders in the past and would like to extend an invitation for these responders to work with our team to evaluate and provide medical support as needed.”
Siyan Clinical Corporation is located in Santa Rosa and is well known for their support to individuals who are in need of psychiatric help, including addiction and depression.
