The CSRG David Love Memorial races at Sonoma Raceway will be this weekend, April 7 and 8. The late David Love started this organization in 1968 as a means to get Historic race cars whose racing days were done with on the track. Approximately 225 cars from the 1930s to the 80s will practice and race during the weekend with the feature races for all classes Sunday afternoon. The cars will be placed into eight different classes with famous marques such as Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Corvette MG’s and others taking part. During the lunch break on both days spectators can sign up for ride alongs in the race cars for a donation to Speedway Children’s Charities, the charity arm of Sonoma Raceway and the major recipient of the weekends proceeds.
