SSU self-defense classes offered by In Motion

Sonoma State University students have the opportunity to learn self-defense with classes scheduled at the SSU Rec Center through the In Motion program.

The cost is $59 for a whole semester of In Motion classes, which include indoor cycling, yoga, self-defense, PiYo, strength and conditioning, abs work, buns and thighs exercises and Zumba.  During the week of August 25-28, students can give these classes a try at no cost.

 

• Noon-12:45 p.m., Monday-Wednesday: Self Defense with Tony Johnson of Martial Arts Academy at SSU Rec Center (part of the free week, then $59 for the whole semester).

 

• 5:45-6:30 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday: Self Defense with Brett www.sonoma.edu/campusrec (part of the free week, then $59 for the whole semester).

 

• 6:45-7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday: Nine-week course on self defense with Tony Johnson of Martial Arts Academy at 5979 Commerce Blvd., Suite 5, Rohnert Park (two weeks free and a 30 percent discount to SSU students).
