Piranhas shine during meet at Honeybee Pool

The Rohnert Park Piranhas swim team hosted a meet at Honeybee Pool that drew more than 300 competitors May 17-18.

The Piranhas’ Rebecca Yoon, Travis Devries, Michael Duffy, and Melissa Adams all achieved new Pacific-recognized B times. Emily Mathis, Alexis Lewis and Michael Duffy each achieved new Pacific-recognized A times, while Cayla Whetstone, Katie Honey and Dominic Restivo reached time standards that will send them to the Junior Olympic meet scheduled for July in Concord.

Piranha Swimmers practice year round at Honeybee Pool and provide guided fitness activity for children ages 5-18 years of age.
