The seniors at Rydell High are singing and dancing their way onto the 6th Street Playhouse G.K Hardt Stage this summer. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko meet Sandy Dumbrowski, head “goody two-shoes”. The Burger Palace Boys and their Pink Ladies are in for a surprising senior year at Rydell. Grease runs June 13 – July 6.

It’s 1959, and school is back in session at Rydell High. Everything seems great for senior and head greaser Danny Zuko until he discovers his summer fling and resident good girl, Sandy Dumbrowski, has transferred to his high school. Throw in the sassy, gum-snapping Pink Ladies and the rest of the greaser Burger Palace Boys and the Rydell senior class is rockin’-n-rolling. Love will be tested and life will be questioned as the group rocks their way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin,” “There Are Worse Things I Could Do,” and “We Go Together.”

Staci Arriaga is the choreographer and director, and Nathan Riebli is the music director. The cast includes 11-year veteran of San Francisco’s Beach Blanket Babylon, Phillip Percy Williams as Teen Angel.

Grease runs June 13 – July 6 on the G.K Hardt Theatre stage. Tickets are $15-$35 and are available online or at the box office. Go to www.6thstreetplayhouse.com for tickets and more information.

The 6th Street Playhouse is located at 52 West 6th Street in Santa Rosa.
