Wong sets Piranha swim mark

Move over Zach Cramer, 10-year-old Justin Wong put his name in the Rohnert Park Piranha Swimming record book by breaking Cramer’s team record in the 200-meter individual medley short course race with a time of 2 minutes, 33.68 seconds at Honeybee Park in Rohnert Park.

Cramer’s mark, which stood for 18 years, was 2:33.91, which he set in March of 1996.  for breaking the 9-10 boys team record in the 200 Individual Medley Short Course event with a time of 2:33.68. 

On March 17-18, the Piranhas will host the Pacific Swimming Short Course A+/B/C meet. Swimming begins at 9:30 a.m. both days. 

The meet will take place at Honeybee pool, located at 1170 Golf Course Dr.
