|Bike to Work Day slated for May 8
Thousands of people from communities all across Sonoma County are expected to participate in Bike to Work Day on Tuesday, May 8.
They will have the to opportunity to stop by more than 25 Energizer Stations at all corners of the county where they can grab coffee, snacks, swag bags and a high five or two.
Dozens of businesses and non-profits have banded together to host these Energizer Stations, which will serve as a cheerful pit stop for bike commuters.
“Bike to Work Day is one of my favorite events all year because it motivates so many more people out biking on the roads and bike paths,” says Aileen Carroll, Bike Coalition outreach director.
“It feels like a party with bicycles, blueberry pancakes, and breakfast burritos. People always have a lot of fun biking alongside their co-workers and friends.”
