Piranhas swim well at home meet

Rohnert Park Piranhas had a successful meet at home the weekend of April 13-14.

In the 8-under age group, Fiona Bowman achieved two new Pacific recognized B times in the 25- and 100-yard freestyle, while Emily Mathis achieved a new Pacific recognized A time in the 25-yard backstroke.

Sena Erickson, in the 10-under age group, achieved a new Junior Olympic time in the 50-yard breaststroke, while Katie Honey, also competing in the 10-under group, achieved a new Junior Olympic time in the 200-yard individual medley.

Haley Woodcox delivered a new Pacific recognized A time in the 50-yard butterfly and also broke a team record in the 200-yard backstroke.

In the 11-12 age group, Jordyn Beach reached two new Pacific recognized B times in the 100-yard freestyle and 50 yard breaststroke. Jaden Wachter had a Pacific standard recognized B time in the 200 yard freestyle and an A time in the 100-yard breaststroke. Cayla Whetstone had a new Junior Olympic time in the 200-yard breaststroke.

Also, Rebecca Yoon, Sean Cotter, and Ellie Sage swam in their very first competitive meet for the Piranhas.

The Piranha’s next home meet, at Honeybee Pool on Golf Course Drive, is May 17-18.
