|SASA registration deadline approaching
This summer, Santa Rosa Junior College will bring 25-30 high school students to the 365-acre Shone Farm teaching lab to educate students about sustainable agriculture and resource stewardship. Experts in these fields will conduct a free, two-week program as the Sustainable Agriculture Summer Academy (SASA). SASA applications are open to high school sophomores and juniors interested in agricultural careers. Minority students are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications must be emailed or faxed by April 30. Students will earn three college units or 15 high school credits.
