Master Gardeners

Master Gardener Janet Barocco will host a workshop on Culinary Herbs Saturday, May 3, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.


• Our book discussion group meets next on Tuesday, May 20, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., discussing “Quiet: The Power of Introverts In a World That Can’t Stop Talking” by Susan Cain. Copies of the book are available at the library information desk. 


Basic library Internet

Learn to use the library catalog and databases on Tuesday, April 29, from 10-11 a.m. Sign up in advance, as space is limited to four people. You can sign up in person at the reference/information desk or call 584-9121 ext. 0920.


Children’s programs

Morning Storytimes: Babytime Storytimes for children ages 0-17 months are on Thursdays at 10 a.m.; Wiggle Time Storytimes for toddlers ages 18-35 months are on Thursdays at 11 a.m.; and Pre-School Storytime for children ages 3-5 are on Fridays at 10:30 a.m.


Saturday Storytime with Pam Brown

The next storytime with Pam Brown for ages 2-6 will be Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. Crafts and stories are around the theme of “Sheepish Delights”.


Family evening Storytime

The next evening storytime for ages 2 and up is on Wednesday, April 23, at 5:30 p.m. Wear pajamas and bring teddy bears if you like.


Read to a dog

The Read to a Dog reading program takes place each Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m., and each Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Come sign up that afternoon to read to an appreciative dog.


Dia del Los Ninos April 30

Come read to a dog from 3:30-4:30 p.m. or from 6-7 p.m. Get a free book for reading to a dog.
