LeMons madness at Sonoma Raceway
Bookmark and Share

The zaniness that is the 24 Hours of LeMons returns to Sonoma Raceway this weekend, March 22-23. LeMons is a racing series that crosses the country with cars that can't cost more than $500 to buy and prepare for racing on the track. Cars undergo a safety inspection before racing and also to see if the officials think that it really is a $500 car. Fines and penalties are handed out for any would-be participant that thinks they can sneak in a ringer. Even though there is fun to be had, there is an upside, as all the proceeds go to Speedway Children's Charities for non-profit groups in Sonoma County.
