Budís Custom Meats wins at CAMP event

Bud’s Custom Meats of Penngrove took home seven awards at the California Association of Meat Processors Cured and Processed Meats Championships at Chico State University.

Bud’s was grand champion in the categories of hickory-smoked pork loin, chorizo and beef summer sausage. 

It was reserved grand champion for smoked spicy country links and smoked turkey and champion for pork garlic sausages with jalapeno and artichokes and old fashioned beef frankfurters.

The competition is open to all processors who are members of California Association of Meat Processors who cured and smoke hams, bacon, jerky and snack sticks as well as various sausages.
