Art exhibition hits SSU March 13

The University Art Gallery at Sonoma State University will host the exhibition “West Coast Ink: Printmaking from San Diego to Seattle’ from March 13-April 13.

The exhibition, which has been organized by Kurt Kemp, Professor of Printmaking at Sonoma State, and Michael Schwager, Professor of Art History and Director of the University Art Gallery, is being presented in conjunction with “Bridges,” the annual international conference of the Southern Graphics Council being held in San Francisco this year.  

West Coast Ink will display a wide range of contemporary printmaking techniques and approaches, including etching, lithography, linocut, monotype, silkscreen, woodcut, digital and even tapestry by a range of artists from up and down the West Coast, as well as one artist from Hawaii.
