Art Exhibit 2014 will be on display in the library’s community room March 4-15. An opening reception will be held on Wednesday, March 5, from 6-7:30 p.m. This show features the work of 10 outstanding Sonoma County artists.


Adult programs

Our book discussion group meets next on Tuesday, March 18, discussing “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn”  by Betty Smith. Copies of the book are available at the library information desk. 


Basic library Internet

Learn to use the library catalog and databases on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 10-11 a.m.  Sign up in advance, as space is limited to four people.

Children’s programs

Morning storytimes: Babytime Storytimes for children ages 0-17 months are on Thursdays at 10 a.m., beginning March 27; Wiggle Time Storytimes for toddlers ages 18-35 months are on Thursdays at 11 a.m., beginning March 27; and Preschool Storytimes for children ages 3-5 are on Fridays at 10:30 a.m., beginning March 28.


Spring break puppet show

On Thursday, March 20, Puppet Art will present Tommy’s Pirate Adventure, a puppet show for ages 4 and up.


Saturday Storytime with Pam Brown

The next Storytime with Pam Brown will be Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m., for ages 2-6. Crafts and stories are around the theme of “Panda Party.”


Read to a dog

The Read to a Dog reading program takes place each Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  and each Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Come sign up that afternoon to read to an appreciative dog. 


Program for teens

Spring Break Trivia Challenge for teens will take place every day from March 17-22. Complete the library’s trivia challenge and get a free book.
