St. Vincent ousts Technology boys from NCL II tourney

Technology High’s varsity boys’ basketball team had Petaluma’s St. Vincent High on the ropes on Tuesday night in the opening round of the Dave Castleberry Tournament (North Central League II tournament) but fell victim to cold shooting in the fourth quarter of a season-ending 46-41 loss on the road.

The Titans took a 37-35 lead into the fourth quarter but could only muster four points in the final period, while the Mustangs scored 11 points for the winning margin. 

Himansu Singh and Michael Zumaeta were the leading scorers for Technology with 15 and 11 points, respectively.

Technology wound up the season with an 8-18 overall record and 3-13 in the NCL II. St. Vincent was 10-4 in the NCL II.
