|Empire College to host informational seminar Feb. 10
Empire College School of Law will host its first informational seminar of 2014 at the college campus on Monday, Feb. 10, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Dana Furby, Attorney at Law and Data Evidence consultant, is the keynote speaker.
After working in high-tech publishing, Ms. Furby’s law career started in 2005 when she enrolled at Empire School of Law. Four years later, she graduated cum laude having established herself in the North Bay legal community through clerkships and volunteer work. She worked at the Sonoma County Public Defender’s office, first as a law clerk and later as an attorney. Since 2010, Ms. Furby has run her own criminal defense law practice and data evidence consulting business.
Empire College School of Law, founded in 1973, has consistently achieved the highest Bar Exam pass rate of all California Accredited Law Schools since 2000. Its alumni comprise approximately 25 percent of the Sonoma County Bar and include members of the judiciary in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lassen and Merced Counties.
