Tech girls drop NCL II games to Roseland Prep and Sonoma Academy

Technology High’s girls’ basketball team dropped its two games last week to Roseland Prep of Santa Rosa, 42-22 and Sonoma Academy of Santa Rosa 40-23.

The Lady Titans are now 5-14 overall and 0-7 in the North Central League II standings. This afternoon at 5:30 p.m., Technology will play host to Calistoga. Technology makes the long trek to Lake County on Tuesday to face Upper Lake at 5:30 p.m.


Sonoma Academy 40 Technology 23

A scoreless first quarter did in the Lady Titans as Sonoma Academy raced to a 19-0 lead on Tuesday in Rohnert Park. From that point on, Technology actually outscored the Coyotes 23-21.

Mary Aguilar led the host Lady Titans with 10 points.


Roseland Prep 42 Technology 22

Roseland Prep was able to keep the Lady Titans from scoring in double figures in all four quarters en route to its fifth NCL II victory. The Knights are 5-1 in league play.

Aguilar, with 19, scored all but three of the Lady Titans’ points.
