Blockbuster Video, among other national video store chains, killed the independent mom-and-pop type of video businesses and is now feeling the brunt of the Internet, which allows people to rent movies on their computers, iPhones or iPads. Blockbuster Video has announced it will close more than 300 stores throughout the United States, including the one in Rohnert Park in the Raley’s Towne Plaza.
