Nebulae viewing at SSU tonight

Sonoma State University’s Department of Physics & Astronomy will welcome the public to Public Viewing Nights at the SSU Observatory to see nebulae and constellations in the night sky through multiple telescopes firsthand.

The viewing schedule includes: Perseus, Pegasus, and Andromeda, tonight, Oct. 4, 7-9 p.m.;  Fall Galaxies (possibly ISON), Nov. 8, 7-8 p.m.; and Comets (possibly ISON), Nov. 22, 7-9 p.m. Maps may be found at www.sonoma.edu/maps/. Call (707) 664-2594 before arriving, as there is always a possibility of cancellation because of fog or cloud cover.
