|Health Fair set Saturday
The Rohnert Park Community Services Dept. is hosting its fifth Health and Safety Fair for all ages on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m.-noon at the Community Center on Snyder Lane.
A pancake breakfast will be served from 9-11 a.m., with proceeds going to Tech High and the Lawrence Jones Middle School Interact Club.
Flu shots will be offered-free to Medicare recipients with a card and $25 for all others. Proceeds will go to Sutter Care At Home for hospice patient care. Free admission includes blood pressure testing, glucose testing, fitness demonstrations, massage, raffles, games and prizes.
Medicine Take Back will be available to take all unused and expired medications for proper disposal. Bring the family to see the fire truck, visit with the social therapy dogs and learn about healthy snacks. For more information, call Pat Anderson, RN, at 795-7695.
