|New minister starts at Cross and Crown
Pastor Pam Schaefer has started her new ministry as the pastor at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church and School.
She started on Aug. 26, and her first Sunday preaching will be Sept. 1. She is a recent graduate of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley. She is excited to be in ministry with the people of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church and School.
She brings a passion for the gospel, a love for God's people, and gifts in the areas of music, vision and leadership.
She has two adult daughters, and has recently begun to experience the “empty nest syndrome” in an unusual way by being the one to move out while her oldest daughter stayed in the home they shared in the East Bay. Schaefer also is a former teacher.
She says she is looking forward to being a part of the community of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church and School.
Services are scheduled for Sundays at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
