|Harley Owners run to benefit Meals on Wheels
The Redwood Empire Chapter of the Harley Owners Group #0339 will hold their 25th annual charity motorcycle run to benefit the Council on Aging Meals on Wheels program on Saturday, Aug. 17.
Motorcycle riders will register at Michael’s Harley Davidson, 7601 Redwood Drive in Cotati, between 8-10 a.m. that morning. The run will end at the Penngrove Park in Penngrove. Those who don’t ride can still participate in the day’s activities.
There will be live music, a barbeque lunch, raffle prizes, T-shirts, vendors and games. The $20 entry fee includes a run pin, the lunch, poker run and run raffle prizes. For a lunch ticket only, it’s $10 per person. A 2013 Harley Davidson Street Bob, donated in part by Michael’s Harley-Davidson of Cotati, is the grand raffle prize (winner need not be present to win.) Raffle tickets (two for $5) are available now at the Council on Aging or Michael’s Harley-Davidson.
All proceeds benefit Council on Aging’s Meals on Wheels program, which served more than 260,000 nutritious meals to Sonoma County seniors last year (not including Petaluma and Penngrove areas).
