Adult programs

The Fit to a T presentation by Randi Francis, from Kaiser Permanente, on bone health and osteoporosis education program for men and women of all ages will be held Saturday, July 27 at 2 p.m. This is a free event in the Meeting Room of the Rohnert Park-Cotati Regional Library. • Our book discussion group meets next on Tuesday, Aug. 20, discussing “A Long Way Down” by Nick Hornby. Copies of the book are available at the library information desk. 

Basic library Internet

Lean to use the library catalog and databases on Tuesday, July 30, from 10-11 a.m. Sign up in advance, as space is limited to two people. You can sign up in person at the Reference/Information desk or call 584-9121, ext. 0920.

Children’s programs

Summer Preschool Storytimes: Music and Rhyme Time for children ages 0-23 months will be on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. until July 30, and Music and Rhyme Time for children ages 2-5 years old will be on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. until July 30.

There are no storytimes in August and there will be some special programs in September. 

Special programs

The Read to a Dog reading program takes place each Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 pm  and each Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Come sign up that afternoon to read to an appreciative dog. 

Summer Reading Club

Children can come in and pick up their final summer reading club prize – a free paperback book. 

Teens, see if you can go another level up this month to pick up another prize.
