Old Redwood Highway plays Bluegrass music in the traditional style on Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m. Most of the band members, who are all residents of Sonoma County, have been playing together for several years. They play and sing together for the joy of sharing old time Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel music with others.
Era Big Band Concert
The Moonlighters will be playing on the library patio on Wednesday, July 17, from 6-7:45 p.m. We provide chairs but you might want to bring a jacket. Refreshments provided by Sally Tomatoes.
An Afternoon in Italy's Gardens
Local landscape designer Cathy Edger on Saturday, July 20 at 2 p.m., will show a slideshow of Italy’s garden styles throughout the centuries and will talk about how we can borrow ideas from looking at the "grand" gardens of Italy for our own gardens.
• Our book discussion group meets next on Tuesday, July 18, at 11:30 a.m., discussing “Nameless Dame” by Bart Schneider. Copies of the book are available at the library information desk.

Summer Preschool Storytimes: Music and Rhyme Time for children ages 0-23 months will be on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. until July 30, and Music and Rhyme Time for children ages 2-5 years old will be on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. until July 30.
The Mark and Dre Comedy Show will perform on Thursday, July 18 at 11 a.m. The Summer Reading Club Finale Program will take place on Thursday, July 25 at 4 p.m. with a puppet show of “Three Billy Goats Gruff” performed by Puppet Art.
• The Read to a Dog reading program takes place each Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and each Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Come sign up that afternoon to read to an appreciative dog.
Coming up this summer is a Stuffed Critter Craft Program on Wednesday, July 17 at 2 p.m. Call 594-9121 ext. 4 or come into the library to pre-register.
