|Symphony of Food, Wine and Art slated June 23
The Santa Rosa Symphony League will host its 38th annual Symphony of Food, Wine & Art at the Rohnert Park Community Center on Sunday, June 23 from 3-6 p.m.
This year’s event will feature a host of restaurants, wineries and producers of artisanal foods that will showcase their best.
The event will feature an array of visual artists, as well as music provided by the Honey Swing Band and Roy Zajac and Friends.
“This event is the original Sonoma County food and wine pairing event and is the crown jewel of our efforts to raise funds to support youth music education,” said Marilyn Chieti, president of the Santa Rosa Symphony League.
“Building on our legacy, this year’s festival includes some old favorites including wine tasting and generous samplings of tasty bites, as well as some new additions including a Symphony of Local Flavors food table, live local music, a mini trivia contest, and a marketplace where guests can purchase wine, art and gifts.”
Tickets are $45 and will be available at the door or in advance at srsymphonyleague.com. Proceeds will support the education programs of the Santa Rosa Symphony. The Santa Rosa Symphony offers Young Peoples Concerts for elementary school children, and music for schools through workshops, free concerts and music listening programs. The league is now in its 54th year of service to the Santa Rosa Symphony and to the community.
