Baseball camps for kids at SSU

Sonoma State University will host three summer baseball camp sessions for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 14, with the first from June 17-20.

Members of SSU’s summer camp staff, made up of current and former SSU athletes and coaches, will try to help children reach their full potential as players. Each camper will receive personalized instruction in hitting, pitching, infield and outfield play, base running and more.

Also, campers will be able to participate in scrimmage for a “real-game” feel.

The cost for each camper is $150.

The second session is scheduled for July 8-11, and the third is slated for Aug. 5-8. Camp time is 9 a.m. to noon for kids between the ages of 7-10 and 1-4 p.m. for those between the ages of 11-14.

Also, there will be Friday night camps on June 21, July 12 and Aug. 9.

Those camps cost $30 per session. For more information, go to sonomaseawolves.com/camps.
