The Rohnert Park Dept. of Public Safety continues its investigation into a party on March 30, where three people suffered stab wounds.

The party was held in the 7000 block of Bonita Avenue, and more than 100 people were in attendance. By the time RPDPS officers arrived on the scene, the residents of the home had cleared out most of the partyers.

At that time, there were no reports of trouble.

Dispatchers from the RPDPS received a report from the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center emergency room in Santa Rosa, where a man required stitches after being cut, possibly at a party in Rohnert Park’s B Section. Shortly afterward, dispatchers fielded another call from an emergency room in Contra Costa County, where another man, who said he’d been cut at a party in B Section, was being treated.

Kaiser’s emergency room called dispatch again, this time at 4 a.m., reporting how another victim needed treatment from what appeared to be a knife wound. This victim, however, said he was a resident of the B Section home.

The resident of the home told officers he didn’t know the suspect and had not invited him to the party.

RPDPS detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident call 584-2600.
